Robert Braendle is a formerly deployed veteran. He created Patriot Packages for the purpose of continuing the mission that remembers and appreciates the service performed by our military deployed in harm’s way. Since 2007 and right up to 2011 Robert performed as Grant Administrator for an organization which shipped thousands of these Military Appreciation Packages [MAP]. Our military is deployed in 160 countries. He has been educated having obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and enjoying a sales/marketing career which honed and refined his skills as an experienced communicator and project facilitator. His leadership has provided Patriot Packages a foundation for supporting its growth and maintaining its disciplined operations. He established By-Laws for Patriot Packages which preserve its business structure and creates a succession path for its officers and key personnel. His efforts to make contact with Family Readiness Assistants and Family Assistance Centers at Scott AFB, Whiteman AFB and the Missouri National Guard Command in Jefferson City are creating the military awareness that Patriot Packages is a trustworthy and reliable organization of its kind. Robert has been recognized by the Missouri Adjutant General and has personally received his Challenge Coin. Robert is adamant that Patriot Packages not charge service members a fee for sending its loved ones a MAP. He has lived in the St. Louis Region since 1984.

Judy Ducar graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree and was employed with the Department of the Army Electronics Command in Philadelphia as a logistician supporting the troops in the field. While raising a family she worked 10 years for a National tax company preparing individual tax returns and became an office supervisor: duties included being a tax instructor. In 1982, Judy moved to St. Louis where she joined a private tax and accounting firm and over the 20 years she worked there, she achieved competence enough to work on and prepare corporate and partnership taxes. Since 2002, Judy worked independently assisting several businesses with their accounting requirements, did the accounting and payroll for a private school, worked for six years with a church doing its accounts receivables, payables and payroll. Additionally she continued applying her trade for several small non-profit groups. When her son was on the first of his five deployments in 2006 Judy volunteered to support those sending Military Appreciation Packages to our military deployed in harm’s way. Upon Patriot Packages’ incorporation in 2011 she joined it and became its treasurer.

Marsha Parsons lives in Marthasville, MO. She currently works full time for the University of Missouri Extension in Warren County as a secretary/bookkeeper. She has been a project leader and a club leader for the 4-H program for many years. Our 4-H club would make cards to send to the soldiers overseas as one of our many community projects. Marsha’s position with Patriot Packages is that of secretary and performing those duties relevant to a secretarial position. Additionally she prepares and prints labels for the packages and compiling a history of the amount of packages shipped and to whom they are shipped to. She enjoys helping others whenever possible and I am honored to be a miniscule part of letting our solders know how important they are to us as individuals and well as their importance for our county.
